To know and share God's love in word and deed, and to point to God’s presence in our midst in the communities of Port Elgin, Southampton, Tara and Chatsworth.

Five Marks of Mission

We believe that mission is core to the life of the church. Our community's life is shaped by the Five Marks of Mission. These marks, or actions are all ways in which individuals and church communities are called to serve the world God loves:

• Tell: To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom

• Teach: To teach, baptize and nurture new believers

• Tend: To respond to human need by loving service

• Transform: To seek to transform unjust structures of society

• Treasure: To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth
